The Allegan County Fair is located in the northwest corner of the City of Allegan. The 115 acre grounds is surrounded by an oxbow in the Kalamazoo River. The fairgrounds site is surrounded on three full sides by the Kalamazoo River. The grounds divides off into 3 levels all of which are very scenic.

 The main level is shaded nicely with several beautiful trees, shrubs, and flowers throughout the entire level. This level houses all buildings, track, show ring, and grandstand. Several of the main roads are paved and the side roads lead to the riverfront banks where you generally find wildlife sharing the habitat.


Starting on the west end of the main level with the arena a 150' x 300' oval show ring with a 74' x 160' paddock area. Complete with judges/announcer booth and PA system. We will be available for dragging and watering arena or any other services needed.


Located approximately 75 feet north of the arena are 2 barns holding 60 stalls each (120 total) with several other stalls nearby. Both the arena and barns have a scenic overview of the river front and ample shade for camping in the surrounding area.


The Delano Livestock Barn (pictured above) is 350' x 120'. Perfect for any equine or livestock sale or show. This barn has a 60' clearspan in the center and two 30' wings. The Caulkins building attaches to the south end of the Delano Barn making an enclosed show arena in inclement weather or additional stalls.


The gate way on the west wing of the Delano Barn goes into a covered cross walk to the Rumery Arena pictured above. This arena is 120' x 80' with 15' clearance all around. Complete with bleachers and PA system... a great covered show arena.

On the east side of the main level there are five interconnecting buildings. Starting with the Agricultural Hall 160' x 58' - Red Industrial Building 160' x 32' - White Industrial 210' x 60' -
Antique/Arts Building 124' x 42' - Youth Building 115' x 50'. These building provide a enclosed area that is capable of housing any home/garden show, flea market, production show or camp outing gathering.

If you are looking for a spot for a camp outing...... our facilities are fantastic! If you would like to be located near the camp outing facilities here is a beautiful shaded area, or if you choose to be along the banks or the river we can accomodate you there also. We have several sites and are able to host any size camp outing.
We have the above Industrial Pavilion 88' x 46' for that outdoor picnic area.
Of course showers and restrooms are nearby. All building and bathrooms are handicap accessible. Picnic tables, serving tables and chairs are available and a 20' x 32' portable stage.

If you are looking to bring a stage show to Allegan our Grandstand has a 12,000 seat capacity along with a covered stage 100' x 56'. The stage is 4' high with a 31' clearance on the front of the stage and 28' clearance on the rear.

No act is too large for our facilities. We have hosted some of the largest names in entertainment. Toby Keith, Garth Brooks, Alabama, Reba McIntire and Nickelback.

FAIR TIME RENTALS

If you are interested in renting a space at fair time we have 3 choices of rentals with different rules and regulations for each:

White and Red Industrial Buildings: These 2 buildings are pictured in the above references. The White Industrial Building has 82 booths. The Red Industrial Building has 28 booths. These 2 buildings are part of an interconnection of 5 buildings. They are in a heavy traffic area as they are located between the main gate and the kiddie midway. All booths are 10' x 10' and must be manned throughout fair - 1st Friday noon to 10pm - 1st Saturday to last Saturday 11am to 10pm.

Outdoor Space: There are several locations throughout the fairgrounds for outdoor space. Outdoor space is priced by footage and location.

White and Red Industrial Buildings and Outdoor Space: We expect clean, neat , and attractive displays. Only displaying and selling items that are legal and morally acceptable for all ages. No laser pointers allowed.

You will be required to privide a certificate of liability insurance showing the Allegan County Fair as an additional insured on your policy for the dates of our fair. Liability amounts and expiration dates must be on our copy. Liability limits are $1,000,000.00 for food concessions and $300,000.00 for all others.

Camping and stock trucks or trailers are $100.00 for the nine days. No tents are allowed in our camping areas and pets must be confined to your campsite.

Industrial Pavilion: This building is covered but open sided. Booths are 8'w x 12'd. There are no sales allowed in this area. You can man your booth if you choose but it is not required.

WINTER STORAGE

We have great rates on Storage. Please contact us the 1st of October annually. Campers, RV's, Motor Homes, Pontoons, Boats, Trailers, Cars & Trucks. Under cover all winter long.
